Install it.

Copy the script code into a script-name.txt file. Save it in C:/perl/eg. Take a ftp-program and use it to look into the directory C:/perl/eg. Rename the script-name.txt into script-name.pl (if you would do it without the ftp program then its name would be script-name.pl.txt and this one would not work).

Open your dos prompt under windows (click start on the windows task-line and then move your mouse to programs -> colorfull msdos picture). Change into directoy C:/perl/eg (cd.. -> cd perl -> cd eg) Start the script: perl script-name.pl
